I stay in chembur as of now...and as my building is getting demolished we are planning to shift. Virar is a good option according to my parents. I dont know much about the place but with the thought of buying a flat in Virar makes me a bit worried.
Can anyone please help me know if we have good amenities there in virar and whether it is a good idea to buy a flat there?

As per my suggestion you must prefer your job location and children school college location.
Virar is good place but its too far from the place like chembur you stayed...it is a central mumbai and very good place in all manners!!
Its depends on your need that may suit your convenience

Home is most important things for every person's life. According to me you shift this place where your office and child school near the house. Its comfortable for you and your family.

I like the look of awnings on houses. They are so out of style that I find it a bold, refreshing move. That said, I see them as a very expensive and continuously depreciating accessory. Water, wind, mildew, pine sap, etc. will all take their toll on them. If it was my house, I would skip it and buy a $40 rattan shade to hang there for sun control. Then I would do all of the rest of the things on the inside of my house that I wanted to do. Only then would I see if I wanted to continue with operation awning.
Thanks
